Have you ever been so bored it becomes excruciating? Last night I was too ambitious to watch TV and too lazy to get off the couch. Puts you in a tough spot where the only solution is to complain about it. haha. Kelly came to my rescue and took me to get a frozen yogurt (my weakness), then we parked in an emptly lot and watched the sun set. It really makes you stop and realize how the simple things in life are the things that make it special. Sitting there daydreaming with the one person I love above and beyond anything in this world found me about as happy as I can imagine.

Happy 49th!
Friday was Dad's 49th birthday, and in honor of his last year of youth his kids all treated him to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Of course, being the children we have always been...we actually just wanted to get him on "The Birthday Saddle" and embarass him a little. He was a good sport and enjoyed himself while everyone gave him a big Texas Yee-Haw! Afterwards we played a couple of bowling games that we should all be embarrased about and Dad hustled Tre' in a game of pool.
Happy Birthday Dad! I hope you enjoyed yourself. You are an amazing person, and we are fortunate to have you for an example to us. You're a wonderful father and a truly great friend. I want to be just like you when I grow up. We love you!
ps. Picture issues have gotten worse...hopefully we can get them in later

The Projects
Weird....I added my photos to the previous post and it was all in the crazy Html language or whatever you call it. So rather than figure it out, we're just doing a separate post for the text. :)
We're getting mighty ambitious with the warmer temperatures. I got home last night and Kelly was building me the planter box in the front flower bed that I've been dreaming up. Its going to look so good when we get it all planted. HGTV has inspired us to spruce up the curb appeal.
We also finally did something with our large "storage room" and built a bed so we could actually have company that wasn't forced to sleep on the couch or the air mattress. I'm going to gloat....I'm taking all of the credit for the designing and measuring. Kelly was my glue and nail guy. I think it looks pretty dang good. (I totally guess on the height and it came out near to perfect, what can I say? I have the knack.) I LOVE the sheets we found. I'm already a little attached to them, as attached to sheets as one can be that is. We got a sweet deal on them at Kohl's, saved 56 bucks...although they were probably originally over priced by $48 to begin with. :)
Now....what should the next project be?

Thoughts & Things
Well, since Kansas lost and destroyed my bracket, I now have time to do some blogging. :) I imagine a lot of people are upset about that loss....and that's the beauty of March Madness...you truly never know.
We just spent a fantastic 24 hours in Wyoming. I went with my Grandma Clark to the 10Virgins parable that was put on at the Freedom Church and it was absolutely wonderful. The women who put it on are from Cokeville/Geneva and surrounding areas and their talent is AMAZING. I had so much fun, you laugh, you cry, and you ponder. If they ever are in your area do not miss the chance to go see it. You certainly won't regret it.
My Grandma Clark is one of a kind. I love her so much and I can't help but smile when I think about her wonderfully grandmother ways and of all the fun I've had with her in my lifetime. She's such a hoot to be around and she's the only 80 year old woman I know that just cooks up an 18 pound Turkey when she has a craving. :)
And the fantastic news that we have all been waiting for....Tre' got engage this weekend to the most beautiful and sweet girl I've ever met, Savannah. I'm so happy for them and wish them well with the wonderful life they have ahead of them together. I'm truly excited to inherit this girl as a sister-in-law. I wish her the best of luck with Tre'! Haha!

MARCH MADNESS
I'm sure there are things to post about that would be more interesting to you. Like St. Patrick's Day. I am wearing my green Converse All-Stars, so I'm sporting it classy today. But I'm going to talk about the important stuff...MARCH MADNESS!
Those of you who aren't excited about this.....get excited. It's kind of a big deal. Last year I was so obsessed I would check the scores on my cell phone while in the shower. Close games cause me some serious anxiety. I just wrote a letter to Kelly from the "March Madness Committe" stating the very stringent rules that are now in place for this years competition. One very important official rule....Kelly is in charge of the sports appropriate snacks. Nacho's, Pizza, Smokeys. Followed by "You WILL cheer as if this is life or death....This IS life or death" Let the games begin! Don't let me down KANSAS!
PS. I had to put USU through to the second round...so all you Aggies out there better be cheering!

Spring Fever
I'm back! Now that we're seeing a lot less inversion these days, and Spring is here I feel like blogging again. Or should I say, feel like doing something worth blogging about. If you're reading this, it means you know me well enough to know that I'm ALWAYS Freezing to death....and I'm a miserable cold person. After what has seemed like ages of hibernation, being couped up in the house, its finally time to make my way outside for the finer things of life. Even yard work sounds like a good idea right now! (Don't worry though, that won't last long. He-he)
We are all geared up to spend some quality time at the nurseries and Home Depot. Spring Fever makes us ambitious, and we are hoping to make the back deck a more comfortable area to enjoy every second possible of the Summer months ahead. Hopefully along with the ambition will come more frequent blogging.
