Giveaway Tag

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It'll be done this year (might take a while).
4. You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry or an article. I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same (If 5 sounds like too much, you could just do 3.) The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! (I will be checking your blog!!!) Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it! Good luck!

sigh...

I have a little confession...
I am extremely jealous of Kelly right now. Ted has developed a very strong attachment to him. He's dad's little work buddy now and they've become inseperable. We went around running errands last night and guess who's lap he had to sit on? And guess who couldn't snuggle close enough to Kelly last night? (That happens to be MY spot!) It's cute, and I love it...but...but...

In Addition To...

As most of you know by now, Kelly and I have a new little addition to our small family unit. The adorable little guys name is Ted. On Valentine's Day we skipped the roses and champagne and drove to South Jordan to pick up this Miniature Dachshund. We immediately fell in love with the little runt. Look at him...who wouldn't?

Despite the consistent accidents on the carpet he has been nothing but fun and joy for us. He loves to cuddle, and is never dulling to play with. I probably do 30+ laps down the hallway every day just so I can watch him run. One of my favorite things about him is the way he makes kelly giggle. He's so fun to have around. Never in a million years did I think that I was going to have a dog that I loved like it was family.

Sweet Dreams...

At last! The bed is finished! Sort of. We finally hauled it up to our apartment...the whole time swearing that we were going to recruit my dad to help us move it in may. It is so heavy. At 9:30-ish last night we put the box spring in and Kelly says, "Uhm, how much room do you have over there?" Well, turns out I had a lot. We got so excited to have it done we didn't even think about where we needed to put the running boards to make the matress nice and snug. But it was late enough that it's going to do for now. It's probably going to do untill we move and have to disassemble it.
And, what's a new bed without a little matching decor, right?

OVERDUE

My poor blog has been so neglected. I blame facebook. There's been nothing going on and yet we've been very busy it seems. That or else just lazy. Guilty as charged.
I've been very crafty the past month though. And luckily I have Kelly to carry out all my projects. We have been on the hunt for a bedframe that was a decent price (that I liked) and finally decided to just make one. Kelly had the best ideas and we've been in the assembly process ever since. As a matter of fact, every time we go to the home depot every employee says, "Back again?" And now when we check out and they ask what we are building, my next answer is to be, "Nothing. I'm a collector." It's almost done though! I'll put pictures up when its finished. Its not much to look at now unless you can see the "vision." I've also made a few more decorations for my home. I love having a new gadget or doohicky to put on the shelf or wall.

Also, Valentine's Day aka Singles Awareness Day is coming up. Seeing how Kelly makes every day of the year a special day for me, I've decided to make Valentine's all about him this year. (After we pick up my new couches!) What man doesn't want a steak dinner on Valentine's? I also think I'll take him to breakfast at Angies. That happens to be my favorite date for us. Simple, but always sweet.
